Habits that have boosted my health.

I decided to change a few weeks ago. These changes were going to play a big role in all areas of my life. I am only going to talk about two habits. They have tremendously affected my physical, spiritual, and emotional health positively. So guys without further ado letโ€™s get into it!

Waking up early.

Yes, I know!. Having been one of those people who thought that waking up early is so overrated. Iโ€™ve figured out that itโ€™s not after trying it out for the last few weeks. It is actually the deal!

It has helped me to plan and have my morning devotion and body workouts. Waking up early is relative. For some people it could be waking up at 4 am, at 4.30 am, 5 am and so on.

My day starts at 5.30 am. I have my devotion and indoor body workouts within an hour of waking up. I feel so focused and energized and ready to face the day.

Consuming More Natural Spices And Herbs.

Treat your body right.

The main aim here is to use and consume mostly organic products as much as possible.
Ginger drink.

has great benefits. One of the benefits I love most about it is its ability to normalize the imbalance of hormones. This spice has greatly assisted in easing my lower abdominal pain and bloating experienced due to PCOS.
NB: All spices or herbs are to be used in moderation.

Drinking a cup of warm ginger water mixed with a teaspoon of organic honey is the first after my workout. This boosts my energy levels for any kind of work or activity planned for the day.

Cinnamon and honey drink.

It is a delicious yet medicinal drink. This is one of my best drinks so far that I have come to love and appreciate it. Cinnamon has the same health benefit on PCOS as ginger to some extent. The difference comes in its exquisite taste and aroma. Ginger has a hot spicy taste to it while cinnamon has a sweet soothing taste and aroma.
So for those who do not like the hot and spicy, cinnamon and honey drink is for you!


I have also included some healthy snacks like porridge mixed with raisins and other fruits like bananas in between meals. This has helped to keep away from processed snacks and other unhealthy food options.

Coconut oil

Absolutely recommended.

A magic ingredient that can be applied to the skin and also used in cooking isnโ€™t that great!. In the region I live in there is an abundant supply of coconut trees which I use to make oil.

I make the oil or ask a friend or family to do it for me ๐Ÿ˜Š . In some rare cases, I buy the oil. Which is fine by me considering the wonderful benefits that come with it.
Coconut helps the body with disease-fighting antioxidants and also in controlling glucose levels.

Changing these few habits to help my body fight PCOS and diseases that my body could be prone to. Tired of all the pharmaceutical medication and felt that my body needed a break from all that.
Since taking this decision I have felt great and I do not regret it a single bit.
I intend to nourish my body with natural remedies and possibly add some supplements over time.

Feeling great, energized, and light as a feather. Though I weigh 86kgs ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚! that goes to show you how fantastic I feel.
I am not an expert in any field of health. Taking my time to research any spice, herb, and any other ingredient I might use in the future.
I recommend only my best practices with the hope of assisting people in situations similar to or close to mine.
