Stress, as described, is caused by the demanding circumstances that are within our environment. This goes without saying, whatever stresses us are within our surroundings.
For example, people who feed our minds with negativity and bad vibes end up making you feel unworthy of everything. Keeping off such people or circumstances will greatly reduce/eliminate stress from your life.
Do not feel guilty for cutting such people you are better off without them. In fact, you will thank yourself when you do this.
