Why I started a blog.

I was drawn to blogging by the success stories of top bloggers. Little did I know that it takes a lot to be that successful.
Learned it the hard way but still loving it all the same!. Now back to the story…….

There I was suddenly gripped with the fear of starting and putting myself out there. Not even trusting in my own ability to be creative and express myself anymore.

Then there was procrastination 😒(this being the major contributor). We all know about this monster but I’ll tell you about it anyway. Procrastination is the action of delaying or postponing something. Boy oh boy, I was 😏😏(still working on it) the queen of procrastination!

It took six months to write and publish my first post!!😮😮 Yeah, that is how serious it was.
All the confidence I once had, had been replaced by procrastination and fear.

So back to the genuine reason for starting this blog after a deep soul searching ↙

Freedom.

Financial freedom.

With the right amount of effort and creativity blogging has proven to many that it can provide this desired freedom.

Freedom of time.

This is where I get to do what I want, where and when based on the fact that I work for myself and with myself 😊.
Greatest aspects of all, time to spend with family, to discover me, creating and growing.

Freedom of expression

Expressing myself in my own way through creative writing. On this platform and other free platforms like Freelancer.com, where I get to express myself and earn at the same time. Now I know that this might not be the best for everyone but for people who are starting up their writing career and learning it is worth a try.

It is also a very good resource for hiring people to write for your blogs/websites. Some blog/website owners do not have the time to write their own articles as I do. This could be due to many reasons like having a full-time job or owning multiple businesses. Hiring an article writer for their blog makes the most sense.

One thing that leads to success is to keep moving and doing what we need to do because guess what?.
We all have to start somewhere. At some point and we go through obstacles and we have to overcome and push through.

I would love for you to join and support me on this journey.
Comment below and let me know your reasons for doing what you do, I would love to hear from you.
